Anyone want to help me with integral of (x^2-1)/x from 1 to 2?

I know it equals 3/2 -ln(2), but cant get the 3/2 part, i get -1/2

So I assume you did the integration correct since it looks like the form of your answer is right. I think you made a mistake when evaluating from 1 to 2.

I just figured it out...It didnt register for me that x^2/x can be x...duhhh ahha, so I computed x^2(x^-1)

ahhh, i just really messed it up because then I put x^-1/1, instead of over -1
