need to find the first and second derivative of the function: y=((x^2-5)/(30x))((x^4+1)/(x^3))

you will have to use chain rule to get both first and second derivatives
oh yaaaa, chain rule... completely forgot about it o: i was only thinking about using first quotient rule for each fraction side, then finding the y' using product rule... after that the y'' i was stuck... wasn't remembering chain rule.
from the looks of equation you have, you probably could separate each brackets into two components with the common denominator - that could possibly simplify a little - then try using chain rule from there
