find lcm of y^2-81, 9y+81

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The multiples in y^2-81 are\[y^2-81=(y-9)(y+9)\]since this is a difference of two squares. The multiples of 9y+81 are\[9(y+9)\]You'll notice that the only multiple the two numbers (expressions) have in common is (y+9), so \[y+9\]is your LCM.
