prime numbers are numbers that can be divided only by 1 and by number itself. for example: 3,7,31,211... (211 can be divided only by 1, 211) 15 is not prime because it can be divided by 1,3,5,15
A prime is an integer whose only positive factors are 1 and the number itself. Take for example 3. It is divisible by -1,-3,1 and 3 but the only positive factors are 1 and 3 so it is prime. 4 is not prime because its positive factors re 1, 2 and 4
thanks you
Prime numbers can only be divided by 1 and themselves.
