simplify to 3x-4 ----> this is a line with a slope of 3 and a y intercept of -4. Start at negative 4 and go up 3 right 1 (rise/run for slope, 3up/1right)
Is the the same even though I am doing parabolas??
Was the equation supposed to be -x^2+4x-4? If that is the case, to graph it by hand you simply need to make a table with the values at certain points. Usually -2, -1,0,1,2 and that should give you what you need.
To clarify what I mean - Make a table with the x values on the left side of -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 and then plug them into the equation to get the y values and plot those points you get.
