Show that y=Ae^(-t) sint is a solution of d^2 y+2 dy/dt+2y=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it d^2y only or (d^2y)/(dt)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its (d^2y)/(dt)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

derive y w.r.t t to get dy/dt then derive dy/dt to get d^2y/(dt)^2 then substitude them into the equation d^2 y+2 dy/dt+2y=0 you do the derive work :)
