sorry i ment 29.5% as a fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you've had people give you the answer many times already on how to write percents as a fraction, try and apply that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have a part/whole. what is the part and what is the whole?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use what you've been taught. Seriously man your gonna fail your test because there aint gonna be no body givin you the damn answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think what he/she is doing is taking the test now, and trying to get the answers while taking it. I know many students who go to school online that do it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, if that's all they want, they need to learn how to use wolframalpha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

59/200

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What the heck is wolframalfa? LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

295/1000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.wolframalpha.com/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just think it's sad that when it comes to actually doing or showing the work, this student is going to be completely dumbfounded.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wolframalpha can show some steps to most common problems, but's also a super powerful math tool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can type "population of the united states+population of canada" and it'll return a good answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cool, I may be able to use it for my college math class. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wolframalpha is truly helpful in my upperlevel classes. I've used in through cal 3 and physical chemistry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome! I'm not taking anything that advanced (yet). Currently only doing college algebra.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it'll work perfectly for you, if you ask it to solve college algrebra level stuff it should show all the steps. I know it shows steps in solving some derivatives and integrals and whatnot. alright, take care. gladd i could spread the word, lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks so much. Math really isn't my strong point. I know enough to get me through, but some of it confuses the crap out of me, such as what I'm doing now, which is systems of linear equations.
