hm, well i answered your other question straight up, so if you can figure out how i got that, then you might be able to do this...

so you just have to multiply the volume by the scale left hand side and right hand side

ok so you only need to use those and the scale to work it out... so say i have a S=6 and scale 2:6 my S=(6/2)*6=18 can you relate that to the question you have??
