I need to find the slope and Y intercept out of this equation so i am able to graph them please help me find this in this equation Y=9x+5 5 That is 9 over 5...
so your slope is 9/5 and your y intercept is 5
your equation is alreadyin slope intercept form which is y=mx+b m=slope b=y intercept
ok now i need to graph this how would i fo about graphing 9/5??
go**
ok so first mark your y intercept (0,5)
ok
then with your slope remember a slope is always like a plane it has to go along the runway before it can go up go over 9 and up 5 from your y intercept
ok let me make sure i did this right. I first did the y intercept at 0.5 then from 5 i went over 9 to the right and up 5 correct?
Uhm.. go to http://my.hrw.com/math06_07/nsmedia/tools/Graph_Calculator/graphCalc.html and put your equation in and check your graph
I am so sorry, but i am not good at this at all :( I pulled up the website you gave me and from here do i put the equation on the top line and then find it?
That's ok yes where is says y^1=..... put 9/5x+5 and click graph
ok it looks nothing like i have so i will have to change that thank you :)
ha ha ok just a good source to go back and check your work:) let me know if you need more help
