Find the radius of convergence and the interval of convergence for the following power series: the sum from 1 to infinity of ((-1)^n(x+3)^n)/(n4^n).

I believe the radius is R=1 and the interval is [2,4]. But just wanted a check. Thanks

I need to brush up on my Cal II.How do you find that again?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did it by first applying the ratio test and I found |x+3| is less than 1. So I figured my interval was (2,4) and then I tested my endpoints by substituting x=2 and x=4 back into the summation and applying the alternating series test...

thanx
