Could you please tell me how to divide 2x4 + 4x3 -5x2 +3x -2 by x2 + 2x -3 Thank You
do you want the process of do you want the answer?
What you have do to first is: to divide the first term of the numerator (2x^4) with the firs term on the denominator (x^2); this result is the first term in the division.
It's the process I'd like to see, because when I tried to do long division I had trouble (it gave me a remainder). Thanks
What you have to do next is: multiply this new term with all the term in the denominator. The terms in the numerator must be substracted from this new terms.
It gave me 2x2 + 1 with a remainder of x + 1, & I believe I should be getting all factors and no remainder
Thank you for your help.
you are right my friend. That is the answer!
become my fan please :)
