11sqrt5/5
y ? i know 11 comes out twice so its taken out of the sqrt then five remains on the bottom how does it get to the top? gosh im confusing myself
you will have a square root of 5 on the bottom. In order to get rid of that you multiply the top and bottom by square root of 5. resulting in dhatraditya's answer
if you multiply a square root by a square root you will cancel the roots and just end up with the number.. so sq root of 5 x sq root of 5 = 5
