You could make an educated guess just from looking at them, but teachers want you to solve it out. How do you think you solve it?

Ahahaha first, we find the common denominator (the number on the bottom of the fraction). What is the lowest number that goes into both 7 and 8?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
......................
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Let me re-phrase that....
7 X WHAT = apple pie
8 X WHAT= applie pie
We need find an apple pie. The apple pie is a number that we can find through multiplication with 7 and 8.
In this case.... the greatest number that 7 and 8 both go into is 56.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So their equel??
