anyone help how to solve this problem and give the formula of this please Find the equation of the perpendicular bisector of the line joining the points A and B in the following exercises 2. The points A(-2,3), B(6,-5), and C(8,5) are vertices of a triangle. Find the equation of the median.
find the slope of AB the perpendicular line has negative reciprocal slope of what that slope is
so we will have something in this form y=mx+b
where m is the slope of the the perpendicular line since that is the line we are trying to find
the only way to find that line is if we know a point on that line. I assume C is on that line, but I'm not sure of my geometry skills. So if we know C is on that line, then we can find the y intercept of that perpendicular line which we call b
if that so how can we solve this? can you give me the answer then some explaination why the answer is that. its okay?
chai, just letting you know, I answered you on the other thread.
