use the intercepts to graph the equation x-3=y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember The y intercept is the point at which x = 0. And the x intercept is the point where y = 0. So plug in 0 for x, and find y. Then plug in 0 for y and find x. Then graph those two points, and the line between them will be the graph of the equation.

will it look like (0,3) (3,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When x=0 we have -3 = y. When y = 0 we have \(x -3 = 0 \implies x = 3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be (0,-3) and (3,0)

ok thanks
