The surface of a cylinder is 2 circles (bottom and top) and a rectangle (side) - you just need to add them up..

Well I'm not sure what the rules are regarding your test, but if it's ok for you to get help here, I'm sure it's ok for you to look at your book. It should be in the section covered by this exam.
