Find the lowest common multiple that will divide evenly into all your denominators
Here's how I do it: Find the GCF of the given numbers. Divide all the given numbers by the GCF. Then, multiply those numbers to get a big number. Multiply that number by the GCF to get your LCM. Here's an example: Find the LCM of 12, 27, and 15. The greatest common factor is 3. If you divide all three of the numbers by 3 you get 4, 9, and 5. Take 3 *4 * 9 * 5 to get the LCM which is 540.
