6 7 9 8 6 8 ? a)6 b)7 c)8 d)10 find the missing term.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

trying to see it - you have any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or do you know the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i guess it would be 10 but not entirely sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess 10////cuz...868-678=190 and similarly adding 190 in 868 it gives 1050 where 10 is the first term but m not sure...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah i mean 679 in 678..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm. wow I wouldn't have thought it'd be that deep lol. or rather, that it would take combinations of the numbers into account.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm trying to figure out some kind of series/mathematical explanation for the dip though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e. if n=0, f(n) = 6 n=1, f(n) = 7 n =2, f(n) = 9 n = 3 , f(n) = 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well make u clear that where i got this problem....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well m the student preparing for medicine and have to go through this type question for the entrance though m not the student of math...so its an IQ based question that need math in somehow..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't need math, on the off chance that you know that those numbers represent the letters in the days of the week the test deems you smart...lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm, was he serious? lol I'm still not seeing it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i guess 6 would be correct answer . as he said.
