There is not x-intercepts in (y=3x^2+7x+11) are there? I graphed it and it did not show any. I also factored it and it did not factor into anything. Also, I did the quadratic function and I am getting 2 complex numbers as my answer. I was just wondering if I am right on my answer?

You're right.

Thanks!

You can check by using the discriminant,\[\Delta = b^2-4ac\]If it's greater than 0, you have two real roots (i.e. cuts the x-axis). If it's equal to 0, you have one double root (e.g. (x-2)^2=0 has only one solution, x=2). If it's less than 0 (as here) you have complex roots (no real intercepts with x-axis).
