Georqia, who is 37 years old, bouqht a bag of nuts. Each 1-ounce serving contained 170 calories. She ate 3 ounces of nuts. What percent of her U.S. RDA of total calories did she consume..??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the US RDA of total calories for a 37 year old woman?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're gonna wanna google that or something. You know that 1 ounce is 170 calories, so you multiply 170 by 3 to get the amount of calories she consumed. You can then set up a proportion involving that answer and the US RDA of total calories for a 37 year old woman to find the percentage.

uqh... i still dont qett this... imLOST

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you know she consumed 510 calories. (170*3) You need to find out the US RDA of total calories for a 37 year old woman (google or something). When you find that number, let's say it's b. Then you have a proportion equation: 510/b = x/100 Google will tell you what b is so you'll just need to solve for x.

okae thanks aqain im about to google it now...!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says its 50 qrams!!

You need an answer in calories, not grams.
