express as a single trig ratio sinx +cotx cosx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sinx+cos^2(x) /sinx sin^2(x) + cos^2(x) /sinx 1/sinx cosecx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im a little confused on how you get to sin^2(x) + cos^2(x)/sinx I dont understand how sin^2(x) is made in the process

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since sinx is in denominator and when taking lcm, multiplied by sinx in the numerator u get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then wouldnt that step be sin^2(x) +cos^2(x) and not sin^2(x) +cos^2(x)/sinx because you elimanted the divide by sinx?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no..sinx in denominator is still there
