I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS....
enrollment at a particualr university is 11,600 there are seven times as many students who work full time as there are students who do not. How many students work full time and how many dont?one second ago

So 7x+x=11600 gives the total amount of students attending the university. Solve for x, which is the students not working full time, and multiply it by 7 to get the amount of students working full time.

I don't think I can really explain it any better. Maybe reread my post, and see if you can understand where I get stuff from. Eventually you get 7x+x=11600 so 8x=11600 then x=1450 which is the number of students who don't work full time. The problem says 7 times this amount is the number of students working full time, which is 10,150.
