now you tell me what are we supposed to do here ^_^
OpenStudy (anonymous):
this one is alil more challenging
OpenStudy (anonymous):
alright, first get them to have the same denominator ^_^
OpenStudy (anonymous):
looks like you need common denominators
OpenStudy (anonymous):
madest pickup line^ , had a little laugh for no real reason :P

ll
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so what will you do now rsan? ^_^
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i have no clue im stuck
OpenStudy (anonymous):
we need to get the fractions to have the same denominators, so what to do? do we multiply both fractions or only one?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
both

excellent now which are you going to multiply with 10 and which are you going to multiply with 9?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thinking...............................
OpenStudy (anonymous):
here, the question is :
\[\frac{7}{9} - \frac{1}{10}\]
hmm what to do?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how will i get 9 into an even number like 10 can get even numbers
OpenStudy (anonymous):
:)
all you have to do is multiply the first fraction with 10 and the other fraction with 9 to get the same denominator which is = 90 ^_^

wow i feel blind for not cathing that lol
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so after that we'll have :\[\frac{10}{10} \times \frac{7}{9} - \frac{1}{10} \times \frac{9}{9} = \frac{70 - 9}{90}\]
continue ^_^
OpenStudy (anonymous):
dw, it happens ^_^
OpenStudy (anonymous):
61/90
OpenStudy (anonymous):
good boy ^_^

how can i reduce that?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now I have a questin for you :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
it cannot be reduced, try :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[\frac{2}{13} - \frac{1}{2}\]?
what to do ^_^? think and give me the answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
sweet i tried it.

so , can it be reduced?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now try the question I gave you, remember the 3 rules:
1) Get the same denominators
2) calculate
3) simplify, if can :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i got 9/26
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so far lol
OpenStudy (anonymous):
excellent, but becareful of the sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
4-13 is -9
OpenStudy (anonymous):
^_^ well done
