Here is a question That I keep working with and coming up with the same answer but the teachers answer sheets does not have the same answer. I have 9(4)/(6)(2) over 8+(1+3) So what do you guys think
The answer is 36.
Do you need the work?
I get 36 as well and the answer sheet says it should be 1 but there is no way to work the answer into 1
our answer is 36?
(36/12)/(12)?
i think the answer is 1/4
Yes. The numerator is much larger than the denominator. The only way it could equal one is if they equaled each other, which they don't. That answer must be wrong. It is 36.
1/4 is correct
ok
i agree i just wanted to make sure i did it right and since we all get the same answer the sheet has to be wrong thanks
or check your spell question you post
No, the answer sheet is right, look carefully at your parentheses
The (2) is not dividing the numerator the way you wrote it, it is multiplying
lol the answer is 1
She's not on to know that it's actually 1
I can't believe so many people were wrong
