How can i solve this D.E.: -d/dx(15*(dT/dx))-d/dy(15*(dt/dy))=30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can do something similar to what I showed you yesterday, but you end up with something called, Laplace's equation. I won't have time to go through the whole solution (I have to go very soon), but I can probably direct you somewhere that can help from that point.

ok i would appreciate that...

Sorry, I have a bit of an emergency on my end...

ok

Sorry abcd, when I started this, I read your '30' as '0', which is why I stated Laplace. I'm running extremely late for something and have to log off. I hate to do this, but hopefully someone else will give you a hand :(

ok thanks for reading it....

I should just tell you, you have an example of Poisson's equation. You may be able to find a solution method online.

^ commitment lol. remember you can always come back to the site later and then question will still be here lol , you shouldnt make yourself late to something to answer questions on here, you can come back later
