the temperature of water is 9 celsius how much colder must the water get to freeze..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

obviously 9 because it freezes at 0 celcious

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Water freezes at zero degree celcius

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then its just 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the temp has to decrease by 9 degree celcius to become zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k thank u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it a sum based on integers??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is a general some to deal with addition or subtraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I helped her yesterday and her sums were based on integers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but it indeed appear as the sum of subtraction not as integers if instead of 9 it would be 9.1 then your argue does not sustain any more....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what ever there is no boundary for math problems...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your answer and logic are correct, no issues with that. But it is 9 and not 9.1 and i was commenting based on yesterday's experience Agreed there can be more than one way to skin a cat But if the way is specified, then we hv to follow
