how can i graph y less or equal x y>x-3???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Imagine the line y = x-3. Now, you want all the y values greater than that line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y lex y>x-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So start by graphing the line (but with dashes)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need total help where to start how to graph and everything just this question please help!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would you graph the line y= x - 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from x3 to y-3 only one line then shade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure I understand. You know how to graph a line right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes if i have the x and y points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so pick an x point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any?? 3.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, didn't see you respond. You can pick any, but it's a bit nicer to pick easy values (0, 3, etc)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok got it from 0 to 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You graphed the line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so you want all the y values above that line. So shade the area above it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(y > the line) means the area above the line you drew.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
