What do you notice about those numbers?
you add 4
so would it be x+4=y
That is one possibility, though you start at 6 so it's 6 + 4*(n-1) There is another possibility.
deos that say 6 + 4 (n-1)

Yes, because each time you add 4 you have \[n=1 \implies 6 + 4(1-1) = 6 + 4(0) = 6\] \[n=2 \implies 6 + 4(2-1) = 6 + 4(1) = 10\] \[n=3 \implies 6 + 4(3-1) = 6 + 4(2) = 14\] \[n=4 \implies 6 + 4(4-1) = 6 + 4(3) = 18\]
