if the acceleration is constant what happens to the motion of the body

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well whats the definition of a? in terms of velocity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=dv/dt right? its che change in velocity over time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what happens when we solve for v? v = integral of a*dt right? but a is constant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that means v = a*t + C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or loco can just send you to a link

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that works..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks interested in mechanics?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

eh im currently studying electrical/computer engineering and had my last finals for the semester yesterday.. just got another 4.0...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Although i have taken statics/dynamics already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what school csevgf?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

great me 2 studing petroleum engineering and iam suffering from it actually:S:S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rolla, MS&T (in missouri)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not gonna lie though... Comp engineering is flutterin cool took my first course in that this semester and fell in love with it instantly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its a matter of what do u love to study

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do love petroleum but mechanics:S:S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I remember not liking dynamics...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean it was cool and all but some of the equations.. it was like where the hell did it come from? i like my proofs...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u make excellent money in petroleum. i wish my school offered it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where do you go to school at?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umd-college park

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm doing comp sci :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh did you take data structures yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i start all my comp sci courses next semester. I finished all the gen ed's this year. just wanted to get those out of the way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha data structures is a beast... I did well in it but invested many hours in that class.. I oringinally was a comp sci but decided against it after an internship couldnt stand sitting behind a computer all day. Did some stuff with databases and stuff. made a database for an inventory table.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

excellent money but with great pain as we know no pain no gain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep.. what made u go into the comp eng?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh no real reason I just figured it would go well with electrical engineering. turns out i like comp engineering more than i do electrical.. You learn about these things called datapaths and control word tables and you learn how the actual components all work together and how to build a computer from the ground up its pretty awsome. We went over how to create 'datapaths' which consist of actual components to implement things like for loops, adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice.. what year are you in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i have over 100 credits... But i did switch majors and am a double major so i have about 2 years left... Been helping my gf with comp sci this semester though and it did bring back a small spark of hope for a comp sci major later on in the future after i get my degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

man you are on a role lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sleep time enjoy. Good luck with comp sci

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks you to :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm up all night studying for calc exam tomm :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

calc 1 2 or 3? ive been through all 3.. and diffyQ.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

calc 1. I'm only a freshman :P taking calc 2 next semster

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well calc 2 was reallllll easy i thought. calc 1 is pretty easy also. calc 3 was a little trickier. I had a great prof for ll of those classes though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ha... lucky maybe u can help me next semester.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also... Khansacademy... he is great at explaining things google. it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah... i've heard of that but never used it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he teaches things from basic arithmetic to calc to physics to linear etc etc.. some organic chemistry some reg chem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

khan is good thanks for recommending :)
