WHATS 15/20 SIMPLIFIED?

OpenStudy (chaise):

3/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO IT AINT THAT NOT MY ANSWER CHOICE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is your answer?

OpenStudy (chaise):

0.75 sound better? Like really? Can't you do this stuff?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ANSWER CHOICES ARE, 3/5, 16/25, 2/3, 25/15 AND CHAISE IM 11 SO STFU

OpenStudy (chaise):

Well it's none of the above. Best of luck with your homework. By the way; no 11 year old should have that attitude, nor should they tell me to 'stfu' when I am trying to help them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u were giving me attitude so you need to rethink read the thing u said. like really? cant you do this stuff? i can im a slow learner with A.D.D SO ONCE AGAIN STFU! YOU AINT TRYNA TEACH ME!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well they are right, none of those are answers. Are you sure that you have everything written here correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES, I BELIEVE THEY MADE A MISTAKE ON MY HOMEWORK...THANK U FOR BEING CALM TO ME EXCEPT MAKING FUN

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course. You were just asking for help. There will always be people at the different stages of math. Anything else I can help you with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I MEANT INSTEAD OF MAKING FUN

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO IM GOOD THANK U maybe later on though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what shape is parallel and perpendicular?

OpenStudy (chaise):

Parallel is a line with the same gradient as the other, however with a different intercept on a graph. Similar to train tracks. Perpendicular is like a + intersection. The gradient of the first line will multiply with the gradient of the second line to equal negative 1. Their gradients will be inverse of eachother. If the gradient of line 1 is :a/b The graddient of the secon line will be: b/a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember im an 11 with A.D.D i dont understand that at all just tell me the shape noth definitions

OpenStudy (chaise):

I told you; the shape of train tracks. Two parrelel lines are the shape of train tracks, the perpendicular lines will intersect with inverse gradients, similar to that of a '+' sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Parallel is, like chaise said, two lines like train tracks, and perpendicular is two lines like a plus symbol +

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just tell me the shape i, i, i dont undestand!!!! omgggg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A square is parallel and perpendicular.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a rectangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a square is a rectangle... so you should put rectangle.

OpenStudy (chaise):

_____ _____ That is the shape of parrelel lines. | | ______________ | | That is the shape of perpendicular lines.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square was the only one lol thanks acho one more question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how many miles are in 195 kilometers?

OpenStudy (chaise):

121.875 Or approximately 122 miles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

121.167382 miles is what I got, but they are basically the same thing

OpenStudy (chaise):

and for future reference, there is 1.6 miles in a kilometre. So in order to go from miles > kilometres you multiply the number by 1.6, in order to go from kilometres > miles you divide by 1.6. Your answer is probably more thorough as you used a more complex method.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a pentagon has two more sides than which shape?

OpenStudy (chaise):

triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the decimal forn of 5/7 rounded to the nearest 10th?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's point 7 by the way not just 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 0.7 thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhh hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just let me know if there is anything.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8 2/9+ 2 7/18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 and 11/18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplified?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup. it is a mixed number though. the just fraction number is 191/18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5 7/9- 2 1/9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not in this case. it's simple addition.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha sorry. getting problems mixed up. that is 3 and 6/9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that all?
