OR || UE || NT f =?, g = ?
what is this?
lol..isnt it a simple....?
i just need help with my homework
\[\frac{f}{36}=\frac{32}{48},f=24\text{ };\text{ }\frac{g}{32}=\frac{30}{24},g=40 \]
can u help me with the another question
go ahead
What is the second problem?
Yes, type in your other question.
TA || UR Is QTA about to TUR? Is QAT about to ARU? Why is QTA ~ QUR? e =
Hold on....
These appear to be proportional problems. This one says, The quantity 3+T is to 5 as 4+A is to e. The is from the geometry the triangle in your jpg. "is to" is replaced by divide and "is to" is replaced by e.\[\frac{3+T}{5}\text{=}\frac{4+A}{e},\text{ }e=\frac{5 (4+A)}{3+T}\] e come from solving the equation on the left for e. Does this help you?
not really
There is some incorrect english in this answer. First the math is correct as far as I can see. From the geometry in your triangle diagram, you have a line passing through the triangle. The line appears to be parallel to the base line of the triangle. From plane geometry, and it's been along time since I studied plan geometry, the line segments on the sides formed by the line passing through them are proportional to each other as shown in the equation. e was solved for in terms of A and T. There is not enough given dimension information to solve in terms of real numbers.
Is e the number 2.7...?
so what should i do?
Is e the transcendental number 2.718 ?
how u do u get thast
e is a very important mathematical constant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_%28mathematical_constant%29 From your reaction I guess that your e is not the mathematical constant e.
There were enough numbers provided in your first problem to obtain numerical values for all the line segment lengths. In the second problem there are three unknowns and not enough numerical information to solve for these unknowns. I guess that I have given you the best answer to this problem that I can Have to leave now.
