bas area x height
= 22pi x 10
220pi sq ft

what about cubic feet?

The answer should be in cubic feet

oh sorry cubic feet

what about the r in the formula for volume? (pi)r^2 * h
OpenStudy (anonymous):
See the cylinder has a circular base and the area of a circle is (pi)r^2
General formula for volume is
V = area of base x height
So, in case of a cylinder it becomes (pi)r^2 x h
In your question it already says that area of base (that is (pi)r^2) is 22 pi sqft
So u r given the value of (pi)r^2 itself. So just multiply by height
