In composite function gof, what is the range and the domain?

no; range is whatever gets returned as a value from the inputs; think of domain as whatever you put into the oven and think of range as what you take out of the oven.
the 2 are related, but not the same unless the oven function is set to inverseify

green= Domain of f(x) ; yellow = Range of f(x) yellow = Domain of g(x) ; red = range of (gof)(x)
