help with this equation please!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{3}/\sqrt{28}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{3}/\sqrt{28}*\sqrt{28}/\sqrt{28} = \sqrt{3}*\sqrt{28}/28 = \sqrt{84}/24 = 2\sqrt{21}/24 = \sqrt{21}/12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

math, how did 28 in the denom become 24.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahahaha that's what I was just thinking! thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol must have been a typo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad... it was a typo.. suppose to be a 28 and the final answer is 14 not 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

had to of been. LOLz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5am here people.. cmom.. LoL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahaha okay so I got the 84/28 part. lost the rest with the numbers discombobulated. so, what did you reduce after that step? could you explain please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide by 4? I am left with 21/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright, i reduced the sqrt(84) to \[\sqrt{84} = \sqrt{2^{2}*21} = 2\sqrt{21}\] so now i basically have the following simplification: (2/28 = 1/14) \[2\sqrt{21}/28 = \sqrt{21}/14 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

come on come on! haha don't have all night! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

patience man.. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahaha I'm tired mayn!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hehe so did yu get it now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

phew! I think I just might. Will get back to you after I attempt a few more on my own. Thank you very much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright, np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guys whatever you do finally u will end up with this answer... \[\sqrt{3}/\sqrt{28}=\sqrt{3}/2\sqrt{7}\]
