i have a question i don't quite understand, i am preparing for a exam. A 100-gallon mixture of citrus extract and water is 3% citrus extract, and it needs to be diluted. The function f(x)=3/100+x represents the percentrage (in decimal form) of the miture that is citrus extract when x gallons of water are added. Find the domain of f(x). Then, find the percentage of citrus extract in the mixture after 50 gallons of water are added to it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the problem you are facing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know how to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you understand this problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz, hurry i am in a rush.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hope you realize that when there is no water added that is x=0 the percentage of citrus extract is 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

However, at the beginning you have told that 100 gallon of mixture of citrus extract and water has 3 percent of citrus extract

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you realize this contradiction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So now you realized it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is not my problem, is from the book

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know the problem? i can't wasted my time, sry i am really in a rush

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but I don't want to put my result here, without your involvement. I consider that unethical

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15 minutes before class start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just need to know how to solve this kind of problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you don't realize the thing I mentioned, you can't understand my solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will understand it
