How do I find the indefinite integral of (x^3 - 2x - 1)/x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide each term by x to get x^2 -2 -1/x then use the backwards power rule on the first two. the anti derivative of 1/x is ln(x) so in total you will get \[\frac{x^3}{3} -2x -ln(x) + C\]
