B makes the most sense to me. (u.v) would be the revenue (the quantities of each laptop produced times that laptop's price). So 1.05*(u.v) would increase the revenue by 5%.

Unit analysis comes in handy here. u.v = <quantity, quantity> . < money/quantity, money/quantity> = (quantity * money/quantity) + (quantity * money/quantity) = money u+v = <quantity, quantity> . < money/quantity, money/quantity> = <quantity + money/quantity, quantity + money/quantity> Which doesn't really make sense for revenue to be a vector.

doesnt (u.v) represent a vector produced from a scalar amount tho? not quite sure how to read the notation
