I am like not even able to focus right now and i did this problem but when i got my answer it wasnt what i thought it should be i am getting one point for the correct solution and one for the steps the problem is in an attachment and im in Algebra btw :)

you need to isolate n on one side of the equation. you can start by multiplying by 2 to clear the denominator:

3 - n = 2*(3/4)

If you are instructed to multiply through by LCM, and you are to be graded by procedure etc. I would multiply both sides by LCM of 4.

it doesn't make sense to use LCM in this case but you should do whatever they ask
