graph the line that goes through point (3,8) and is parallel to the line whose equation is 6y-10x=30.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can some graph this to the question please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=5+5/3x so the line that is parallel to this has to have the same slope (5/3) You can graph it easily. just go to the point 3,8 and draw a line with 5/3 slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I cannot see the line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

watcha mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i graphed it wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really cannot see any graph there is just a vertical and horizontal line added

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what did you use to make it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o ok paint i copied graph off internet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hehe :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did it wrong i made it perpendicullar instead of parallel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that makes a bit of difference. just go to the point (3,8) and draw a line with slope 5/3 that means that if you go 1 step right the line will go 5/3 up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its just one line right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol
