OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the distributive property

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multipy every thing through by x, multiply through by one. Add the two together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ax ^{3}+(ax ^{2}+bx ^{2})+(bx+cx)+c\]They skipped this step, factoring.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see and then they just factor the ( ) together or somthing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, they pull out b+a in the first bracket and c+b in the second.
