thank you nancy
u r wel com
2/3 of 188, is that what you want to know?
yes
376/3
And what was the other question?
i got the other one figured out
So thats all?
how do i write the 376/3 as a whole number?
Its not a whole number, how can you write it as a whole number? You can only write it in fraction form or you can also express it as a decimal
for my math question i have to find out 2/3 of the total number of votes casted and for that i got 188,400
i typed in the 376/3 and it said it was wrong
You asked me a different question
You told me to calculate 2/3 of 188
But now the question you are writing up, is completely different. It means 2/3 of a certain number is 188
sorry my typing on here is slow
jesus, why is there so many posts over like a yr2 question
i'll try to copy the question and paste it in here
Do you need to know the answer to that question, I mean the one that you posted just before 1 or 2 posts
Find two-thirds of the total number of votes cast. the total i got is 188,400
188 thousand 400
See, phrasing a bit differently makes completely different sense. This time again its making a different sense. Please post the original question
it's online work i copied the question from the assignment page and pasted it, i'll try again
Please post the question once again
Please don't mention what you got, just post the qeustion
Please mention your question
The final election returns for a city bond measure are shown below. the two numbers are 125,599 and 68,801 (a) Find the total number of votes cast. votes (b) Find two-thirds of the total number of votes cast.
it won't let me paste the picture that is with the question
attach it
there's the picture
a) The total number of votes is the sum of those two numbers b) 2/3 rd of the total number votes can be calculated by first summing those two numbers (just as you did on the previous section (a)) and then multiply it with 2/3
that's what i was trying to figure out. I got the answer for part a but i can't get the answer for part b
b) \[(125,599 + 68,801 ) \times 2/3\]
Is that all?
i hope so
Ok bye
