I need help with this problem: 2a/3a-b = c solve for a
Multiply each side of the equation by (3a-b) to get rid of the left side denominator. Divide both sides of the equation by 2 to leave "a" alone on the left side.

Factor out a from the sum on the left and side. -a (-2 + 3 c) = -b c Now divide both sides by (-2+3c) There will be a minus sign in front of a on the left hand side. Multiply both sides of the equation by a minus 1 to get ride of the negative sign.
\[a=\frac{b c}{3 c-2} \]
