6v(2v+3) help! :(

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what do we do to this?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

this is just a statement; it means the same as saying: tomatoes are red..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the product.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

oh...distribute then: 6v(2v+3) 6v(2v) + 6v(3) 12v^2 + 18v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6v(2v)=12v^2 6v(3)=18v 12v^2+18v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankyou

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Combine like terms! or do pemdas! < please my dear aunt sally! 1 do the parethses! then multiply the 6 to the other v!:)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you simply distribute the 6v thru...no pedmas.. no other monickers of idiocy to relate to.... just distribute

OpenStudy (amistre64):

tell me: does 3*8 = 24?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

true i see that now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

was 12V^2+18v the answer? i hate math. :c

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if 3*8 = 24 then: 3(5+3) = 24 ; so lets distribute the 3 thru the paranthesis \ 3(5) + 3(3) = 24 15 + 9 = 24 24 = 24 ..... thats all the distributive law is

okay, thanks, you're great!
