f(x)=-16x^2 What is the inverse function of.. I need the answer plzzzzzz, assume that all variables are positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the inverse is \[f^{-1}(x)=\sqrt{-\frac{x}{16}}\] typesetting is bad, square root should be over the whole thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it didn't say "assume that all variables are positive" this function would not be one to one so you would have to restrict the domain to make an inverse.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you worried about a "-" sign under the radical?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is no radical in the problem i have here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean in the answer i sent.
