I get it now, but who ever made up the question  use m to represent a point. That is a source for confusion because m is commonly used to represent slope. Anyway, You can find line ge and line mr by using the point slope form 
$$y _{2}- y _{1}=p(x _{2}-x _{1})$$p here is slope. (Like I said it is usually denoted as m, but m is used in your question.)
