How do you find the period of a graph? How do you find the amplitude and period of this function: y=-3 sinx
its the dot at the end of a sentence
3 is the amplitude since its all out in front
and the period is a normal sin period of 2pi
isn't 2pi the period of sinx?
it was yesterday, but you know how trigsters like to change things on ya without notice
O.o..How come i never get wht u say?..O.o
its my florida southern drawl ;)
Perhaps....:)
So I am still confused on how to find the period of the graph?
sin(x) is nekkid so you just use its normal period; its normal cycle time of 2pi
sin(2x) means that the period is twice as fast and only take 1/2 the time to make a complete cycle; sin(2x) has a period of 2pi/2 = pi
sin(pi x) has a period of 2pi/pi = 2
@amistre64 that's wht i was going to write :S :P :)
trig is 90% memorization.... after that its just 10% rememberization lol
you was gonna say its nekkid? lol
huh? no i have no idea wht that means....i was going to write that example u wrote with sin(2x)....:P:P:P
ok thanks!
