cos(t/2) means that it takes twice as long to complete one cycle.... since the normal period for cos = 2pi; this takes: 2pi --- = 4pi for one period 1/2
the easiest way to determine it is just to plug in '2pi' for sin and cos graphs and see tha the answer is...
when t = 2pi; we should equal 0 normally 2pi/2 = pi; which is only half the cycle; so 4pi to complete it: 4pi/2 = 2pi
