please solve by partial diffrentiation (4x^3y^2-ycosxy) w.r.t y

I'll do it part by part... 1. partial differentiate the first part.. x is considered a constant... 8x^3y-(ycosxy)'... 2. the first part is done, now just differentiate the second part, which requires product rule (f'g + fg'). so f = y and g = cosxy and f'=1 and g'=-xsinxy 8x^3y - (cosxy+y(-xsinxy))... 3. clean it up. don't know how much u want it cleaned up though 8x^3y-cosxy+xysinxy
