sqrt(ab) = sqrt(a) x sqrt(b)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??...

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

4te

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The notation is a little ambiguous... but it'd surprise me if they just used sqrt(49) to mean 7...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the square root of 49 minus the square root of 9 which is 4 like bumbcow said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about the te with them? So it would be 4√te?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 'te' is short for 'square root'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait what? wtf is this notation.
