The slope equation for a line is y=mx+b. The format of the equation given to you is not in slope form. So make it slope form by adding 16x on both sides. y= 16x - 4. Start graphing the answer by plotting a point 4 units down on the y-axis (the +b in the equation, a.k.a. y value when x is 0, a.k.a. y-intercept). The slope is 16. Slope is rise/run so 16/1is the slope in fraction form. Therefore you move 16 units up from the first point you created and one unit to the right. Make 2 or 3 points by rising 16 units up and 1 unit over. Now you connect the dots by drawing a straight line.
